Norbert began watercolor in 1991 after his retirement. He has an extensive background in machinery, mechanics, as well as a number of other artistic talents, including woodworking. These subjects translate into a number of gallery-worthy paintings that feature industrial themes. However, Norbert likes to experiment with still life and landscaping, or whatever else inspires him at the moment.

With a natural talent already in place, Norbert received instruction from a variety of workshops and classes, including ASU. He is a member of the AZ Watercolor Association, Contemporary Watercolors of Arizona, Arizona Artist Guild. He is also one of the four founding members of the First Thursday Art Group.
