Bonnie began taking art classes in 1991. She is fortunate to live in an area where there are so many gifted teachers and artists. She has worked in several mediums, but her favorite is watercolor. She loves the softness of the colors but often chooses strong pigments which result in bold, bright colors. Bonnie is also a pattern maker and delights in details. Her favorite subjects are florals, still-life studies, Oriental images, and fashion.

Bonnie belongs to the Arizona Watercolor Association and has been accepted into numerous local shows and won two awards. She had paintings accepted twice into the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies. Her latest award was a first place prize in watercolor at the Scottsdale Artist’s School annual show, “The Best and The Brightest”.
